Zhongping Huang 博士简介Dr. Zhongping Huang has developed an active and well-funded research program while at Widener. He has developed (and patented) a novel nano-porous membrane to improve kidney dialysis and to purify water for military applications. His research was supported by NIH, Office of Naval Research, PA state, and several companies, such as Gambro, Novaflux, and Nephro for approximately $250,000. He has published 15 peer-reviewed technical journal papers, 17 book chapters, and several conference presentations since 2004. In addition, Professor Huang serves as the Department Chairman of Biomedical Engineering, as well as the Editorial Board of the ASAIO Journal, Board of Officer of ISLFD, the Vice President of ISLFD Delaware Valley Chapter.
